I have always been a fitness person, most of my life a runner, then eventually added strength training with CrossFit.
Long story short, for the longest time I have always thought cardio was the means to weight management, after working with Mick and following his program I no longer do as much cardio, instead I focus on strength training...
I do enjoy mud runs and running, so at times need to work on endurance. Mick’s program adapts to those needs, so bottom line regardless of your goal
Mick’s program is adaptable for all your fitness needs. I am stronger than I have ever been!!

I started with Mick’s Gym 3 ½ years ago. At the time, I was just looking for something different to try. I had never done any kind of weight training prior to that. Soon after starting, I was hooked! Powerlifting has become a passion that I was so Blessed to discover! I went from a complete novice to a competition lifter in this short amount of time and now have multiple state records.
I have been so successful solely because of the training I have received at Mick’s Gym. The atmosphere in this gym is one of a kind! We all work as a team encouraging each other as well as coaching each other. This type of training helps us all perfect our form and increase our strength. By joining this gym, you join a family, we are a tight knit group in and out of the gym!
